The Department of Technical Education (DOTE) has officially announced the results for the Government Technical Examinations (GTE) in Commerce Subjects — Typewriting, Shorthand, and Accountancy. Candidates can now check their results at tndtegteonline.in or dte.tn.gov.in by logging in with their registration number and date of birth.
Over 1 Lakh Candidates Qualify
According to the official data released by DOTE, a total of 180,743 candidates applied for the August 2025 GTE examinations. Out of these, 174,567 candidates appeared and 110,884 successfully passed the exams, resulting in an overall pass percentage of 63.52%.
Further classification of results is as follows:
- Distinction Holders: 47,098
- First Class: 42,487
- Second Class: 21,299
- Failed: 63,473

- Click on the link titled ‘View GTE August 2025 (Typewriting, Shorthand & Accountancy) Results’.
- Enter your Registration Number and Date of Birth.
