
JKBOSE Announces Class 10 Exams From Nov 3, 15% Syllabus Relaxation Given
JKBOSE has released the date-sheet for Class 10 Annual/Regular 2025 (Oct-Nov session). Exams will begin on November 3 with a 15% syllabus relaxation for nearly 95,000 students.
The Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education (JKBOSE) has officially announced the Class 10 Annual/Regular examinations 2025 for the Oct-Nov session. The exams will commence from November 3, running from 11 am to 2 pm, with Mathematics as the first paper followed by Social Science on November 7. Science is scheduled on November 11, English on November 14, and Urdu/Hindi on November 17. Computer Science will be held on November 19, vocational subjects on November 21, optional languages on November 24, Home Science on November 23, Music on November 25, and the session will conclude with Painting/Art and Drawing on November 27.
Nearly 95,000 students from Kashmir Division, winter zone Jammu, and Ladakh UT are expected to appear. Due to disruptions caused by weather events including heat waves, torrential rains, and floods, JKBOSE has announced a 15% syllabus relaxation, meaning students attempting 85% of the syllabus will be evaluated as 100%.
JKBOSE has emphasized transparency and fairness, urging students to prepare diligently while calling upon invigilators and school authorities to ensure the exams are conducted with integrity and professionalism.
