AP NEET PG Counselling 2025 Registration Reopens - Eligibility and Barred Candidates List
The Andhra Pradesh NEET PG Counselling 2025 registration window has reopened for admissions into MD, MS, and PG Diploma courses under the competent authority quota. Conducted by Dr NTR University of Health Sciences (NTRUHS), Vijayawada, along with SVIMS Tirupati, the process allows eligible candidates to register again with a late fee through the official portal. This move comes after the initial deadlines in September, ensuring more aspirants can apply. However, candidates must carefully review eligibility rules, service obligations, and the disqualification list issued by the university before proceeding.
The Andhra Pradesh NEET PG Counselling 2025 registration process is active once again, reopening the application link for candidates seeking admission to MD, MS, and PG Diploma courses under the competent authority quota. The counselling is being conducted by Dr NTR University of Health Sciences (NTRUHS), Vijayawada, with seats also available at Sri Venkateswara Institute of Medical Sciences (SVIMS), Tirupati.
Initially, the registration window was available from September 19 to September 25, 2025, without a late fee. The deadline was then extended to September 27. Now, the portal has been reopened with the option to apply by paying a late fee, although the university has clarified that details of the late fee will be notified separately. Importantly, once paid, the application and processing fees (including the late fee) will not be refunded.
The university has also released a barred candidates list. A total of 191 candidates are disqualified from this year’s process: 22 candidates who were allotted seats in stray and special stray vacancy rounds last year but failed to report, and 169 candidates who discontinued their courses between June 2022 and now. These candidates cannot apply under either the competent authority or management quota seats in this round.
Eligibility rules are strict. Simply qualifying NEET PG 2025 does not ensure admission. Applicants must not have crossed 50 years of age as of April 16, 2025, and must meet specific service requirements: two years in tribal areas, three years in rural areas, or six years in regular government service. In-service quota candidates must also complete compulsory rural service to qualify for quota seats.
Additionally, those admitted under the in-service quota are required to sign a bond to serve for at least 10 years in state health facilities after completing their PG course. Failure to comply will lead to a penalty of ₹50 lakh plus recovery of allowances and interest.
This reopening gives eligible candidates one more opportunity to secure seats in Andhra Pradesh, but with clear guidelines, strict eligibility, and penalties for non-compliance, transparency and accountability remain at the forefront of the counselling process.
